The most practical transportation alternative to get to Los Angeles International airport from the city center is by using the FlyAway buses. These buses depart from Union Station and get to the airport in about 40 minutes. When there is traffic or during rush hour that travel time can vary significantly. Separate buses depart from these locations to the airport. You can buy your bus ticket on board using a credit card.

Passengers can also take the Green Line to the airport, which stops at the metro Green Line Aviation Station. From that station there are free shuttle bus services to the airport. The Green Line operates between Redondo Beach and Norwalk. After you get to the Green Line Aviation Station you can get on the LAX Shuttle “G” line, which will take you to the terminals.

Transportation to Angers City Center from Airport

Angers Airport

The city of Angers, located on the north-west of France, is spreading along two banks of the Maine River. There are a total of 6 bridges bringing the two sides of this city divided by the river. Angers is home to many historical and architectural beauties. The city is famous for its flowers, wall carpets and orange liqueur. Every year, a music festival is held in the last two weeks of June and many music lovers from abroad participate in this festival.

The most common means of public transport in the city is buses. Thanks to the lines spread all over the city, you can easily reach every place by bus. The one way ticket costs 1.40 Euros. You can get your ticket in the bus. With this ticket you have the right to transfer as many times as you like in one hour. If you wish you have the chance to get a daily ticket for 3.60 Euros. If you plan to stay in the city much longer and prefer to use public transport, you can buy a monthly ticket.

At all bus stops you can see clear explanatory information and maps about the rides. There is also a tram line running on a single line in Angers city center. With this tram you can go from one side of the city to another.

You can take a taxi from the taxi stops located at different points in the city. In general, it is not possible to take a taxi besides the taxi stands. There is a taxi stand right next to the train station.

You can arrive in Angers by train or bus from the cities where these airports are located. The cities of Nantes, Poitiers and Rennes are not too far away. From the Angers Loire International Airport you can reach the city center by bus or taxi. Some hotels offer airport shuttle service.

If you want a more private transport vehicle you can rent a car. But you must remember that you must have an international driver's license for this.

You can see the taxi stand right in front of the departure gate of the airport arrival terminal. The taxis definitely have a taximeter and are extremely reliable.

Bus

There is a bus alternative for those who prefer public transport. You can easily get to the city center by bus no. 2 from the bus stops, which you can easily see at the exit of the airport arrival terminal. It is possible to get your ticket from the driver. You can also transfer within 1 hour with the same ticket.

Taxi companies accepting payment by credit card can provide large minibus-style vehicles that can carry 8 people upon request.

Bus

From Marce Airport to the city center you can travel by buying tickets of 2B line buses of AnjouBus company which makes four journeys a day. Buses that arrive at the city center in about 35 minutes regularly depart from the station every day at 06:59, 07:59, 09:14 and 13:59 outside the terminal building. After reaching the bus station in the city center, you can go to the railway station which is five-minute away on foot and travel different regions of the city by train.

Rent a car

Although taxis make it easy to get from the airport to the city center, passengers who want to be at the steering wheel in the city with very steady roads and avenues can rent cars from two companies at the airport. Europcar and Avis, which have offices in Marce Airport, serve passengers all week except Sunday.
