About Deva

The city called Deva, which is also the center of the Romanian province of Hunedoara, has approximately 70-thousand-population according to data in 2002. This city is located in the historical Transylvanian region, and also on the left bank of the Mures River. The city is divided into four different village administrations which are Arki, Barcea Mica, Cristur and Santualhm. In terms of education, besides Special Ecology and Tourism University, there are Timişoara and Cluj-Napoca academic centers.
