Goiânia, the most crowded and capital city of the Province of Goias in Brazil, has a population approaching 1.5 million. The population of the city is increasing with the municipalities around it.

The history of Goiânia, which was founded as a planned city, dates back to 1930s. Meanwhile, Goiânia, one of the 12 biggest cities of Brazil in terms of population, has many activity options for tourists.
