However, to get to the airport from the city center you have to first take the metro and then get on a bus. From central locations in the city like the Old City, Cafer Cabbari, and Khatai you can take the metro to the 28 May and Koroglu stations. From here you can get on bus line 116, which runs to the airport or take a taxi to the airport.   

Personal Car

Since the city is rich in oil, fuel is cheap, making traveling by car a very attractive option. Getting to the city center from the airport is very easy. One of the city’s most important avenues, Heydar Aliyev Avenue will connect you to the Boyuk Shor Highway, which goes to the airport. From the highway take the Airport exit. The airport contains indoor and outdoor parking lots where you can park your personal car for a certain fee.

Podgorica Airport, which is located 11 kilometers of the city center, covers a very large area as the most important airport in the capital. Taxi

You can easily get to the city center by getting on one of the taxis departing in front of the passenger terminal building at Podgorica Airport. You can reach the city center in about 20 minutes thanks to the taxis which are the fastest transportation options. The fares of the taxis vary according to the distance. Taxis which are equipped with the latest technology offer a comfortable travel to the city center.

Bus

You can easily get to the city center by getting on a bus departing behind the terminal building at Podgorica Airport. You can have a budget-friendly and enjoyable travel thanks to the buses which are among the means of public transportation. Bus route L20, which is one of the buses specially designed for children and handicapped, carries passengers from Podgorica Airport to Capital Podgorica, which is the last stop. Comfortable and economical buses offer service from 07:00 am to 09:00 pm.
