Airport Transfer

You need to transfer to the Green Line at Attaba station from Yellow Line, which hosts the above mentioned stations.

Even if it does not reach the airport yet, you can get off at the Abbasiye station and complete the 15 kilometers distance by taxi or bus number 111. It is also possible to reach the airport by buses 27, 111, 356 from Tahrir Square where Sedat metro station is located.

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

Cologne Bonn International Airport and Düsseldorf International Airport also serve small cities in the area so there is a well develop shuttle service network, which is operated by private companies. There are many rental car companies located at both airports. To get to Aachen from Cologne Bonn International Airport follow the A4 motorway. To get to Aachen from Düsseldorf International Airport follow the A44 motorway. Under normal traffic conditions it takes about 1 hour to get to Aachen from both airports.
