Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

You can also prefer hotel shuttles for your transportation to the city center from Alta Lake Airport. These shuttles generally start operating at morning hours. The amount you need to pay for hotel shuttles is about 210-250 dollars for 1-4 passengers. You need to pay 260 dollars for 5 or more passengers. If you will travel to Solitude/Brighton direction, you need to pay 200-250 dollars. If you will travel to Snowbasin/Sundance direction, you need to pay 350-400 dollars.
