Airport Transfer

It will be possible to reach the airport with the subway lines passing through Zamalek, Wasat Al-Balad and the Nile's eastern region, which we refer to as the center of Cairo, in a few years, but you can only reach the areas close by at the moment. Al Dock, Opera, Sedat (Tahrir) and Naguib are the metro stations close to the center.

You need to transfer to the Green Line at Attaba station from Yellow Line, which hosts the above mentioned stations.

Even if it does not reach the airport yet, you can get off at the Abbasiye station and complete the 15 kilometers distance by taxi or bus number 111. It is also possible to reach the airport by buses 27, 111, 356 from Tahrir Square where Sedat metro station is located.

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

Using the speed boats to get to the Kadhdhoo Airport and then to Kadhdhoo city center from Malé airport will save you incredible time. From Kadhdhoo Airport you can reach the city center in a short time with speed boats or safari vehicles. These speed boats, which are named Dhonis, are among the most preferred and most economical means of transportation in the city.

Seaplane

In Maldives you can get a unique experience as well as a fast journey without being exposed to traffic with the seaplanes. The fact that the seaplanes are very widespread in Kadhdhoo and Kadhdhoo Airport provides sea transportation to the city makes it a great convenience to tourists visiting the city and the locals.

You can get to Kadhdhoo city center from the airport by ferries or speed boats as well as with sea taxis. Sea taxis are available both in the city center and airport terminal buildings.It is possible to get to Kadhdhoo city center in a very short time by taking a sea taxi from Kadhdhoo Airport.
