Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

These buses operate every thirty minutes or one hour. Sometimes, however, there may be delays and some passengers may experience problems with bus drivers. In general, it is not possible to travel between border regions by using only one vehicle.
