There are different options to reach the airport from the city center in Cairo, visited by many tourists every year. The services that the hotels usually offer or arrange for you and public transport are the first ones that come to mind.

Airport Transfer

Public Transport

Al Dock, Opera, Sedat (Tahrir) and Naguib are the metro stations close to the center.

You need to transfer to the Green Line at Attaba station from Yellow Line, which hosts the above mentioned stations.

Even if it does not reach the airport yet, you can get off at the Abbasiye station and complete the 15 kilometers distance by taxi or bus number 111. It is also possible to reach the airport by buses 27, 111, 356 from Tahrir Square where Sedat metro station is located.

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

You can get your bus ticket from the pay-desks or ticket vending machines for only 2 Chinese Yuan, as of 2016. If you take the bus 102 that goes till Yiwu Binwang Hotel in city center you would reach Yiwu city center in no more than 22 minutes..

Taxi

One of the most affordable and shortest ways to reach Yiwu city center from Yiwu Airport is to take a taxi. The taxis, which are also incredibly popular in the city, are ready for your service outside the terminal on a 24/7 basis. You only need to give the driver the details of your destination. The taxis that operate at the airport are more affordable than others, and the average fare of reaching the city center from the airport would be 35-45 Chinese Yuan. Once you take a taxi, you would reach Yiwu city center in 7-8 minutes.

Car Rental

Renting a car would be economically beneficial for you, if you are going to stay in Yiwu city for more than 3-4 days. In order to rent your car from the airport, you need to do a little research before your arrival. In this way, you can rent your car in minutes with your international driver's license and pre-reservation, and reach Yiwu city center in 5-6 minutes.
