The journey to the airport takes about 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Erzurum Airport has both domestic and international terminals. Both domestic and international terminals have restaurants, PTT post offices, sales stands, luggage packing machines, two buffets, the ATMs of the Vakıfbank and the İş Bank and three Rent a Car offices; in addition to these facilities, the international terminal also has a Duty-Free shopping store.
