Renting a car is the most preferred option for those who want to have a convenient transportation vehicle for the entire trip. However, you must remember that you must have an international driver's license to be able to drive in Ostrava. If you prefer to use public transportation, you can go to the train or bus station.

Car Rental

Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz companies are serving at the airport. With the car you rent, you can go to the city center via motorway 58. The journey takes about twenty minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Taxi

Taxi passengers are waiting in front of the Incoming Passenger Terminal. It takes about twenty minutes to get to the city center by taxi from the airport.

Train

The train station is located next to the Outbound Passenger Terminal. You have to board the train S4 to get to the city center. You can purchase your ticket at the information desk at the arrival terminal or on the train. You can pay by cash or credit card.

Bus

You can reach bus lines 910 333 and 820 150 from the bus stop in front of the Incoming Passenger Terminal. The bus 880 670 leaves from the bus stop just in front of the train station. These three bus lines also go to the city center. You can get your ticket on the bus from the driver.
