Airport Information

Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport from where Kathmandu’s, as well as whole Nepal's international flights are made. Train

The airport isn’t directly served by train. However a transportation alternative is to take bus number 440 to the Aplerbeck Station and then transfer to the U47 rail line. You can also take the AirportShuttle to the Holzwickede Station and transfer to a train to the city.

Rental Car

Renting a car is another convenient way to get to the city center from the airport. Rental car companies that have offices at the airport include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, and Thrifty Car Rental.
