Renting a car in the city is one of the best alternatives, especially in an environment where it is not advisable to use public transport for safety reasons. Once you are at the airport, you can easily rent your vehicle and take the way. However, it is not recommended to travel alone in the country for security reasons. Bus

Private vehicles are usually used by the residents of the city and they take the guests from the terminal to the city center. If you are going to use the car, you can be in the center of the city in about 20 minutes after you leave Mogadishu Airport and follow the city center signposts. The airport also has pausing, waiting and parking areas reserved for those arriving by private vehicle. You have a chance to leave your car in these parking lots for a few hours or a few days. However, remember that parking fees are not very low, especially if you pay after 3 days. If you want to get a private car between the airport and the city center, obtaining a navigation device would be lifesaving. If you are going to drive the car yourself, remember that you should not travel alone as a safety precaution.
