Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport is located 25 kilometers from the city center, 35 km from Göreme and 40 km from Ürgüp. The airport is especially used for weekend vacations in the city, one of the important touristic cities of Turkey. The airport, which has two terminals as Domestic and International terminals, has quite a simple structure. Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport, which was opened to air traffic in 1998, has been busier in recent years; however, it is not an airport in which many flights are arranged.

The airport mostly hosts the flights arranged by Turkish Airlines and Pegasus between Nevşehir and Istanbul, Ankara and Antalya. In summer months, international flights are also arranged. The Estram tram provides easy transportation to the city from Anadolu Airport. The tram operates every day of the week and is an affordable option to get to the city from the airport. The tram runs every day from 6 am to 12 am. The Eskart is the electronic card system that is used to pay for the tram but you can also pay by cash.

Bus

Another convenient transportation alternative to get to the city from Anadolu Airport is by bus. Buses are easily accessible from the bus stops at the airport and are another affordable option.

Just like the tram, you can purchase a bus ticket via the Eskart electronic card or by cash.
