Airport Information

Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport is located 25 kilometers from the city center, 35 km from Göreme and 40 km from Ürgüp. The airport is especially used for weekend vacations in the city, one of the important touristic cities of Turkey. The airport, which has two terminals as Domestic and International terminals, has quite a simple structure. Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport, which was opened to air traffic in 1998, has been busier in recent years; however, it is not an airport in which many flights are arranged.

The airport mostly hosts the flights arranged by Turkish Airlines and Pegasus between Nevşehir and Istanbul, Ankara and Antalya. In summer months, international flights are also arranged. Taxis offer a more refreshing journey thanks to air-conditioning advantage at the scorching heat of Kuwait. You can easily find the taxis, which serve all day long, in front of the terminal building of the airport. However, you should keep in mind that this option is more costly.

Bus

Four bus lines 13, 21, 99 and 501 are at your service on your way to the city center. Bus number 21 runs between 4:30 am and 11:45 pm. You can take the bus 13 to reach Chipset, bus 99 to go to Subhan and bus 501 to go Raqai part of the city. It takes about half an hour to reach the city center by all these bus lines.

Rent a car

You can also prefer to get to the city center by renting an affordable car of different brands and models at Kuwait Airport, where there are many international car rental companies such as Hertz, Avis, National, and Dollar.
