Osh Airport, located in Osh, one of the important cities of Kyrgyzstan, is 12 kilometers from the city center. Osh Airport, a small airport, maintains international and intercity service in Kyrgyzstan.

The airport is used especially for flights to Moscow and Bishkek, but there are also flights to cities like Istanbul and Urumqi.

While the transportation options are very limited in Osh because of the mountainous terrain, Osh Airport serves as an airport connecting the city to the world in spite of all the difficulties.

The city center is only a few kilometers away from Bogorodskoye Airport and reachable in a short amount of time through some different transport options. The quickest method is to take one of the taxis waiting at the terminal exit. If you prefer to use public transport you use a ‘marşrutka’, a type of minibus. This inexpensive journey should take you to the city center in 10-15 minutes, however since the vehicles are quite small it’s not advisable to use them if you are a large group or have a lot of luggage.  There’s no rental car agency in the airport so renting a car isn’t an option to reach the city center, but you can rent one from the car rental agencies in the city once you get there.
