About Tallahassee
Tallahassee is the capital of the Florida state in the United States. Since it is the capital of the state, important public institutions are located here. There are three universities in the city with a population of approximately 156 thousand. It is a calm and peaceful city. The green areas in the city are large and you can see squirrels circulating around the city in many places. It is also called squirrel city.
The climate is generally mild. There is a mild but rainy climate as it is located in the south of the USA. Especially in August and September hurricanes might be observed. There are many museums in the city. Places like the Science Museum, History Museum, Antique Car Museum, Florida State University, Alfred Macley Pak, St Marks Lighthouse, Presidential Building can be visited ... When you are in Tallahassee, you can also visit other famous cities in the USA including Miami, Tampa and Orlando. Tallahassee has an old airport built in 1929.
