About Arapongas
Located between Sao Paulo and Parana, Arapongas is one of the smaller cities of Brazil. Many tropical fruits such as bananas and pineapples are cultivated under the influence of tropical climate which is dominant in the city and its surroundings, and their trade has an important place in commercial life of the city. Temperatures in the city, where temperate climate prevails, have not undergone major changes and are usually around 20 degrees Celsius throughout the year. The city is not very rich in terms of places to see and visit. However, you can still visit the natural areas surrounded by greenery, see the archives of the city that shed light on recent history, or watch the shows that exhibit the traces of both European and Brazilian cultures in theaters like Oduvaldo Vianno Fulho.
