About Bahia De Los Angeles
Bahia de los Angeles, one of America's most important tourism centers, is known as the City of Angels or the Bay of Angels, just like the Los Angeles city in the USA. Located on the California Peninsula, on the banks of the Gulf of Mexico, this city earns considerable revenue from tourism, just like the other half of the peninsula. Although the tourist facilities are not very developed, it is one of the important centers of the country with regards to sport tourism. Surrounded by the desert, the desert climate is effective in the city. The city hosts the Baja 1000 motor sport racing every year.
The city, which is the most prominent point of the Gulf of California for fishing sports, is the most common place for the white-tailed fish, which grow up to 180 centimeters tall. The source of livelihood in the city is also largely based on fishery. Bahia de los Angeles, among the regions where the Mexican state worked to develop fisheries, is on the foreground in tourism with pictures of walls and caves with a 10 thousand years history. Bahia de los Angeles Airport 3.6 kilometers north of the city is mostly a local airport, although it is open to international flights during certain times of the year. In addition, there is no possibility of transportation in the city except private transportation.
