About Charleston

Located in the U.S state of South Carolonia, and the second largest city of the state after Colombia. It sits on the delta of the Ashley and Cooper rivers as they empty into the Atlantic Ocean. The city has a long history, having been founded in the year 1670 and deriving its name from the English King Charles II.
