About Ensenada
Ensenada, Mexico's largest settlement in Baja California state, is located along the Pacific Ocean. The city is tucked into the small mountain range. Among the people, Ensenada is referred to as the beautiful Cinderella of the Pacific. Ensenada, an important port for the country, is a city developed in the area of shipping and fishing. In the city, which is also an important logistics center from the military point of view, there are air, land and naval base.
Ensenada, which is in a protected area and close to the equator line, is never too cold. However, the breezes coming from the mountains surrounding the city and the sea prevent the city from being too hot. Since the nights are much cooler than the daytime, it is recommended that you take a few suitable pieces of clothing whichever season of the year to visit the city.
Ensenada's city center can be easily reached on foot. Bikes can be used safely in almost all tourist areas. Buses are used for urban transport are very affordable, but it might be difficult to find the way for those who doesn’t speak the local language.

This area, which you can reach by bus or tours, seems to be of great interest to tourists. sudden ripples of strong waves hovering and forming a kind of fountain view is a natural phenomenon making this region as a tourist attraction; but today there are very beautiful scenery observation areas, restaurants, cafes, shops and so on around. There are also swimming, diving, skiing and camping facilities.
Ensenada is also famous for its wines. You can visit the vineyards, a few miles outside the city, taste the different homemade wines and buy them for yourself or your loved ones. You can join wine tours for a more conscious wine tasting. Various ecological walking tours are organized in the city. The Baja Film Studios, home to the Titanic film, are among the places that can be seen in the city.
In Ensenada, where fishing is one of the most important economic activities, you should absolutely try the fish version of the famous Mexican tacos. The open-air fish market is also among the places to be seen. Here you can also find nice restaurants with a rich fresh seafood menu.
Ensenada is also an important shelter for many wild sea creatures. Sea lion, white shark, gray whale are just a few of these species. The city is also rich in terms of diversity of sea birds. You can get a chance to see these interesting creatures that have been under protection since 1975 with various tours.
