The Rubjerg Knude famous lighthouse was built in 1900 and is positioned 200 meters from the shore but the shifting sand dunes and the coast getting swallowed by the sea the lighthouse, which has been abandoned since 1968 due to erosion by the sand, the lighthouse is expected to fall into the sea in 2023 which rises an incredible 60 meters above sea level. If you climb up the lighthouse you can experience a great view. Borglum Kloster is 5 kilometers from Lokken and is an Abbey dating from the 12th century and a monument to history.
