About Mississauga

Mississauga, which is the 6th largest city of Canada, is located in the west of Toronto and 280 kilometers of Lake Ontario. The roots of the city, which was built in 1974, actually date back to the 1600s when European immigrants came to the region. Mississauga, which later became a city, is home to a lot of historical places due to its history.

Today, the city is still a growing and dynamic business center. The city is like a treasure to be discovered thanks to its city center, villages located on the lakeside, beautiful nature and long walking trails and streets that are very rich in terms of culture and art. Mississauga is also a city full of oxygen thanks to its 350 parks. It is possible to find a park where you can take a breath and relax even in the center of the city where there is much crowd.

There are many places to visit in the city but first of all you need to see the following places; the historical and old Port Credit Village, Clarkson Shopping Street and Bradley Museum which is located here and has a nostalgic atmosphere, art galleries in Downtown which is the heart of the city and a cultural center and Streetsville Village which is home to various festivals such as the Santa Claus Parade in the December and Canada Day Celebration on July 1.

Mississauga is a city that is rich in terms of sports activities. There are 2 golf courses in the city. In addition, national hockey championships and concerts are organized in Hershey sports and entertainment center. Toronto Pearson Airport is the widest and busiest airport of Canada. It is very easy to travel to the city from this airport.
