Serik, which is one of the important tourist destinations of Antalya, is located 38 km east of the city center. Located on the Antalya Plain, the district has a large forested area and agricultural land. In the economy of Serik, which is fed by Köprüçay and Aksu Rivers, agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry are also very effective in addition to tourism. With its warm and rainy winter months followed by long, hot and arid summer months, Serik experiences the typical characteristics of the Mediterranean climate.

Serik has a coastline of about 22 kilometers long and has many tourism facilities. In addition, many summer houses are located in the coastal part of the district. However, sea tourism constitutes only a part of Serik tourism. Köprülü Canyon and Zeytinlitaş Cave are among the natural wonders of the town. The ancient city of Aspendos and archeological site of Syllion are two important destinations in terms of culture tourism.
