Transportation to Airport from Venice City Center
Venice Marco Polo Airport
You can reach the Marco Polo airport in 25-30 minutes directly by ACTV and ATVO buses departing from Rome Square. You can also get the trams departing from Santa Lucia Railway Station. You can go to Venice Marco Polo Airport only by taking the buses afterwards that transfer to the airport. Taking a taxi is another option.

Airport Information
Marco Polo Airport is 7 kilometers from Venice and is one of Italy's busiest airports. The airport consists of a 3-storey building. Entrance floors are reserved for incoming passengers, while 1st floor is reserved for departing passengers and check-in procedures. There is a VIP Lounge and offices on the 2nd floor.
There are banks, cafés and restaurants, car rental offices, hotel reservation banks in the incoming passenger area. The journey to the city centre should take around an hour. Once you are at the 16th stop, Evangelismos Hospital, you can take either walk, or take the 732 bus for three stops, to reach Sintagma Square.
You can also reach various areas in Athens from the airport by taking buses 54, 608, 622, 732, and 815.
Train – Metro
