The city of Bangkok experiences extremely hot temperatures and these vehicles were designed taking that fact into consideration. These vehicles are all air-conditioned, providing comfortable transportation for tourists.

Transportation to Sochi City Center from Airport

Sochi Intl. Airport

Situated in the Krasnodar Kray Federative Region of Russian Federation, Sochi is centrally located on the Black Sea coast near the Caucasus Mountains. Sochi, known as the warm face of cold Russia, is a resort city established in the early 1900s. Spas and great beaches in this city host many tourists every year.

Buses, trolleybuses, and taxis connect all parts of the city to each other in Sochi, which has made a tremendous renovation in the transport infrastructure to host the Winter Olympic Games in 2014. In addition, free bike rental option also stands out as a practical service.

Sochi Airport is half an hour away from the city center. It is considered as one of the most important airports of Russia with the number of passengers that has increased in recent years. You can take advantage of the train, bus, minibus and taxi options to travel between the airport and city center, which is 30 kilometers away. Apart from these options, you can also prefer to rent a car from the airport to reach wherever you want to go.

Taxi

If you want to travel by taxi, it would be certainly useful for you to bargain with the driver about the taxi fare before boarding the taxi. Although taxis are less preferred because they are more expensive than other means of transportation, you can prefer the taxi option to get rid of long bus journeys.

Bus

You can get to the city center by two different buses departing from the bus stops right next to Sochi Airport. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. The bus number 105 runs between 5:20 am and 11:15 pm, while the bus 105C runs between 6:01 am and 11:35 pm. In addition, there are also different bus lines to Rosa Khutor Alpine Center and Adler areas outside the Sochi city center.

Train

You can reach the city center after a 45-minute journey by trains that run 10 times a day. Although train journey is slow and tiresome, it becomes attractive with its unique coastal view. You can buy train tickets on the train. The first train leaves the station at 7 am and the services end with the last train service departing at 9:20.

Minibus

The minibuses called Marshrutka are an alternative to buses and trains that have few services. It takes about half an hour to travel to the city center by taking the advantage of small and sympathetic Marshrutka minibuses running on line 124.

Rent a car

You can also rent a car to discover the beauty of Sochi, a magnificent seaside city of the Black Sea. You can easily find the offices of Sochi and Car Booking companies that provide high-quality service with new cars in their fleet at the airport.
