Airport Information

The airport in Dakar's northern district is named after Léopold Sédar Senghor, Senegal's first president. The public also refer to the airport as Dakar Yoff Airport, with the airport’s former name. A new airport is being built as an alternative to the airport, which cannot satisfy its guests both in terms of capacity and facilities. There is no clear information on when the airport, whose construction started in 2007, will be opened.
