Transportation to Airport from Tbilisi City Center

Tbilisi International Airport

Located about 13 km from the city center, the airport is easily accessible by a variety of transportation alternatives.

Metro

The city has a very developed metro line that connects directly to the airport. The MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) metro station is located in the main terminal building. The red and gold lines run directly from the airport to the main stops in the city’s commercial center, such as Five Points, Civic Center, and Peachtree. The metro runs every 15 minutes and travels to the city center in about 15-17 minutes. From the Five Points station you can transfer to the green or blue line, which provide access to other important parts of the city.  

Airport Buses

Taxis are located in the Yellow Bus aisle, just outside the baggage claim area. There are 13 rental car companies located at the airport, offering a fleet of hundreds of vehicles. To get to the city center from the airport by car connect to the I-85 N from the Terminal Parkway. This freeway will take you to the city center.
